The National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOC-K) will be heading to the ballot today, where some 29 delegates from the affiliate federations and 4 exco Members will elect new office bearers.

It’s not clear how things will pan out with both Shadrack Maluki and Francis Mutuku’s camps in tense mode, as the fate of the four federations which forced the postponement of April’s election remains uncertain.

The president’s position is a battle between outgoing 1st Vice Shadrack Maluki and outgoing Sec Gen Francis Mutuku, while the 1st president’s post will pit NOCK executive member Barnaba Korir, against Professional Boxing Federation boss Anthony Ombok, alias Jamal.

Elected officials will serve for a four-year renewal term.
