Government Spokesperson, Isaac Mwaura, has warned against incitement, saying the government will not allow the country to slide into anarchy through information misuse by a few self-serving individuals.

Speaking last evening in Nairobi, Mwaura denied recent claims by Diana Gichengo, the National Coordinator at the Institute for Social Accountability (TISA), that his office gets Ksh.36 billion.

Mwaura said his office budget does not even get to Ksh.100 million adding that the government will scrutinize those maligning the State on social media.

Mwaura appealed to Kenyans to submit their views on the Finance Bill 2025 through the right channels, saying the government will not allow another Finance Bill moment.
