Harambee Stars local based players entered day two of their residential training camp today at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani stadium.
The team of 29 players is preparing for its 1st appearance at the African Nations Championships (CHAN), to be co-hosted jointly by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania between the 2nd and 30th of next month.
Head coach Benni McCarthy, is expected to trim the squad to the final 23, who will compete in the biennial football tournament.
Harambee Stars will get their CHAN tournament underway on the 3rd of next month against two-time champion DR Congo, at Kasarani Stadium before taking on Angola four days later.
Kenya will play Morocco, on the 10th before winding up their Group A assignment against Zambia on 17th August.
