Harambee Stars intensified training at the Police Sacco stadium in preparation for the African Nations championships to be staged in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania from next Saturday, 2nd August.
Stars will be appearing at the biennial CHAN tournament for the 1st time.
Kenya will open its Group A campaign next Sunday, 3rd August, at Kasarani Stadium against DR Congo’s Leopards.
Other countries in Group A alongside Kenya include Chipolopolo of Zambia, the Palancas Negras of Angola, and Morocco’s Atlas Lions.
Kenya’s opponents, DRC, are currently in a short residential training camp in Tanzania, where they are set to play defending Champions Senegal on 29th July in a friendly match in Dares Salaam,before heading to Nairobi.
