Irate residents of Korompoi area along Namanga highway torched a lorry after running over and killing instantly a mother and her daughter when crossing the road.
The two died on spot while the driver of the ill fated lorry took to the heels.
Irate residents torched the lorry before blocking the busy highway for three hours stopping police officers from collecting the bodies.
Residents claim the area has become a black spot with three people killed by speeding vehicles in the last two weeks.
They want KENHA to erect road bumps.
