The National Heroes Council says it will dig in the archives to ensure all Kenyans whether dead or alive and who made great contributions to this country are honored.
The Council’s chairman Jimmy Angwenyi and Chief Executive Officer Charles Wambia said the organization has made it deliberate to recognize individuals who have left a mark in society.
The two were speaking while handing over the medal of honour to the son of the late Meza Morowa Galana from Tana River county who composed the Kenya National Anthem and was honored posthumously in the 2025 Mashujaa Day Celebrations in Kwale county.
