Prior to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics and the forthcoming Dakar Youth Olympics, the National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOCK) has reaffirmed its commitment to guaranteeing equitable opportunities for all athletes in the selection process for Team Kenya.
NOCK President Shadrack Maluki made the assurance during a meeting with the Chairperson of the Parliamentary Sports Committee, Dan Wanyama.
The committee aims to identify and nurture talent across the country, ensuring no athlete is left behind in Kenya’s sporting journey.
Wanyama, in turn, pledged Parliament’s support in collaborating with NOCK to strengthen the systems and structures necessary to elevate Kenyan sports to the global stage.
