Ryan Ogana’s 73rd-minute thunderbolt shot from outside the box was all that Kenya needed to silence Burundi in their backyard in a Group F 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier staged on Thursday evening at the Intwari Stadium in Bujumbura.
The win ensured the Harambee Stars collected all three points, which lifted them to 3rd in the group on 12 points, dislodging Burundi.
Kenya will travel to the Ivory Coast for next Tuesday’s last match against the African champions.
