The Railway Museum in Nairobi hosted the second edition of Gondwana x Bakone’s electronic music event, bringing together more than 20 DJs from Kenya and South Africa.

South African DJ Da Capo headlined alongside local acts including Suraj, BIG NYAGZ, FooZak, Gathoni, Thami the Unknown and Vidza.

Additional performances included Aahil B2B Dylans Bby on The Island stage and Hiribae B2B Paps.

The Railway Museum provided the venue for the second consecutive event of its kind this year, with organisers utilising the space’s industrial setting to create an atmosphere distinct from traditional nightclub venues. The dual-stage setup allowed attendees to move between performances throughout the day.

Premium tequila brand Don Julio partnered with the event as the official spirits partner.

The event marks the second collaboration between Gondwana and Bakone in Nairobi, building on the success of their first edition. By bringing together DJs from across the region, the organisers are working to strengthen connections within Africa’s electronic music community.

Electronic music continues to gain ground in Kenya, with events like Gondwana x Bakone reflecting the genre’s growing fan base and the increasing number of local and international artists performing in Nairobi.
