Delvin Savara Mudigi, better known as Savara and part of the band Sauti Sol, has written the song “Pamoja” as a celebration of CHAN 2024.

The song, written alongside Tanzania’s Phina and Uganda’s Elijah Kitaka, was created to celebrate the spirit of unity and culture across East Africa.

The song blends traditional music instruments such as the Isukuti, Chakacha, and traditional Ugandan rhythms to craft a powerful sound “rooted in the spirit of togetherness across the continent”.

“Honoured to meet and vibe with the national team, Harambee Stars, and present to them the official CHAN anthem,” Savara said. “Such a blessing to produce and sing such a global song. This is a season of winning. Let’s all come and celebrate the beautiful game pamoja.”
