The Shree Visa Oshwal Jain Community, Nairobi, today reaffirmed its commitment to supporting education and youth welfare through a  donation of assorted food provisions to benefit the students of St John’s High School-Kangii for the month of July 2025.

The handover ceremony took place at the Oshwal Centre, Nairobi, and was graced by key leaders of the Oshwal Community.

St John’s High School-Kangii Board Chairman Dr Benjamin Musau expressed appreciation for the community’s continued support.

The food donation included maize, beans, rice, maize flour, cooking oil, and sugar.

“As a community grounded in the values of service and compassion, we believe it is our duty and privilege to support the education and well-being of young people across the country. The students of St John’s High School-Kangii represent resilience, potential, and the future of our nation. We are grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside them on their academic journey and hope that our small gesture today brings nourishment, encouragement, and dignity to each learner. We remain committed to strengthening this partnership going forward.” Said  Bindi Rashmi Shah, Shree Visa Oshwal Jain Community Chair Person

This marks the second donation by the Shree Visa Oshwal Jain Community to the school in 2025, following a similar gesture in February.

According to Dr Musau, the impact has already been evident through improved student morale, classroom engagement, and a stronger sense of belonging within the school.
