TVS Motor Company (TVSM), a specialist in manufacturing two- and three-wheelers, has inaugurated a new showroom for its two-wheeler lineup in Nairobi, in collaboration with its distributor, Car & General.

This facility will cater not only to the Kenyan market but also to the broader East African region. The showroom serves as both an experience and sales center for TVSM’s range of products, which are celebrated for their dependability, quality, and engineering prowess.

The opening comes on the heels of the TVS Apache RTR 180’s launch in Kenya, marked by a grand event in Nairobi earlier this week, which will be manufactured locally in their plant, which has a capacity of producing 700 units daily.

The TVS Apache RTR 180 embodies a perfect fusion of power, precision, and performance, drawing from 43 years of TVS’s racing legacy.

Speaking at the launch event, Peyman Kargar, President of International Business at TVS Motor Company, remarked, “Kenya is pivotal to TVSM’s ambitions on the continent, given its status as a regional commercial hub and its impact on motorcycle culture throughout East Africa. The country’s expanding community of discerning riders and its developing urban infrastructure make it an ideal market for the Apache’s introduction. There is significant potential here, and through our robust partnership with Car & General, we aim to further our expansion in Africa.”

The Indian company is globally acknowledged for its engineering, innovation, and quality, with products available in over 90 countries across Asia, Latin America, and Africa. TVS Apache is also gaining traction in Italy.
