Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz has landed another major international collaboration, this time with American R&B icon Ciara on her new single “Low.” The track is part of the deluxe edition of Ciara’s album CiCi and comes with a striking music video.

Diamond delivers a Swahili-infused verse alongside Ciara’s silky vocals and powerhouse choreography. His performance not only complements Ciara’s Atlanta-born sound but also showcases East Africa’s unique rhythm and lyrical style on the world stage.

This isn’t Diamond’s first collaboration; the “Katam” singer has a history of high-profile partnerships, including working with stars like Alicia Keys, Rick Ross, Ne-Yo and Omarion.

For Ciara, this shows her willingness to tap into African sounds for her comeback album, CiCi, following her Beninese citizenship granted in July in accordance with the country’s new law.

During the release of the album, Ciara said, “Honestly, I’ve been working on this album for almost five years. I put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, as they would say, into this project … I literally gave birth to two babies while I was making this project, too.”

Her eighth studio album, “CiCi”, includes 14 songs with further collaborations with Tyga, BossMan DLow and Busta Rhymes.
