The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations trophy made a stop on its tour on Thursday, November 13, in Boulogne-Billancourt, close to Paris.
Having already visited Angola, Nigeria, and South Africa, France became the latest country to welcome this iconic symbol of African football, which represents unity and pride for the continent.
The visit is part of a global tour organized by TotalEnergies in partnership with the CAF, as anticipation builds for the upcoming TotalEnergies CAF AFCON Morocco 2025, scheduled from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
During its time in France, the Trophy was featured on L’After, a leading football program on RMC Sport, which is a key player in French sports media. With an annual audience of nearly 14 million listeners, the show is an essential platform for analysis, debate, and lively football discussions.
The Trophy also appeared in a recording of After Afrique, RMC’s podcast dedicated to African football, which recorded a special episode on November 13 with the Trophy in attendance.
Throughout the broadcast, the Trophy attracted significant attention, with journalists, consultants, influencers, and guests expressing their excitement at the rare opportunity to be close to one of African sport’s most important symbols.
Following the Paris event, the Trophy continued its journey to the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, marking the transition to the next phase of its continental tour.
The next destination is Côte d’Ivoire, where from November 30 to December 2, the Trophy will be displayed at several iconic locations in the country, which are recent champions of the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON and hosts of the 2023 edition.
