Applications are now open for this year’s #WEARETOGETHER International Award.
Unveiled this week in Moscow, Russia, the 2025 edition will honour individuals and organisations from around the world for their selfless contributions to addressing critical humanitarian challenges and advancing international humanitarian cooperation.
This year, the Award is dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the nationwide mutual assistance campaign #WEARETOGETHER.
Originally launched during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, it united hundreds of thousands of Russians across the country to support those facing difficult circumstances amid a new, unprecedented threat.
Over the years, more than 145,000 public leaders from 142 countries have enlisted.
“This year, the International track, known globally as ‘We Are Together’, focuses on social partnership to foster global development, bringing together foreign individuals and organisations”, announced the World Youth Festival Directorate.
Applications will close on June 23. The winners will be announced at the prize award ceremony held annually in December.

The We Are Together Award has been awarded since 2020 to volunteers, non-profit organisations, commercial companies and authorities for initiatives aimed at helping people and improving the quality of life.
The award was created by order of the President of the Russian Federation and allows participants to receive international recognition, opportunities to scale their projects and support from experts and mentors.
Additionally, the contest offers participants the opportunity to join acceleration programs, attend the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) and other key events, visit various Russian regions, and receive media support and promotion.
On human assistance, experts will be keen on projects aimed at improving the well-being of vulnerable categories of citizens, providing social assistance to people in the field of mental and physical health, donorship, health care development, as well as protecting populations and areas against emergencies, searching and rescuing of people, popularizing safety culture and developing volunteerism.
On the other hand, on a sustainable future, focus is on projects related to the field of environmental protection, environmental education, ecological consumption, «green» economy and technology.
