Bien performs at sold out Indigo concert at O2 arena

Kenyan Afro-pop star Bien delivered a powerful and soulful performance at the Indigo at The O₂ arena in London over the weekend, marking a major milestone in his solo European tour.

The Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter of the celebrated band Sauti Sol performed to a packed house at the 2,750-capacity venue nestled within The O₂ complex.

The event, presented by Columbo Music, was “his biggest solo show in the UK to date” according to the venue and drew fans from across the city and beyond.

Bien performed hits from his critically acclaimed debut solo album Alusa Why Are You Topless, alongside fan favourites from his earlier EP Bald Men Love Better. The set also included newer songs “Katam”, his recent collaboration with Diamond, and “All My Enemies Are Suffering”.

Backed by a full live band, Bien’s performance blended soul, R&B, and Afro-fusion, wrapped in storytelling that reflected both his musical journey and personal growth.

Fans who attended the event have been sharing videos and pictures online, praising Bien for his performance, the show’s vibrant atmosphere, excellent sound quality, and Bien’s undeniable stage presence. Some have called the performance “a new high for East African music in the UK.”
