American musician Billie Eilish has won an award in each of the seven categories she was nominated in making her the biggest winner at the 2025 American Music Awards.
She won the artist of the year and favourite female pop artist; album of the year and favourite pop album for Hit Me Hard and Soft; song of the year and favourite pop song for “Birds of a Feather”, and favourite touring artist.
Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars followed with three awards. Two awards (collaboration of the year and favourite music video) for their hit “Die With a Smile” and Gaga took favourite dance/electronic artist while Mars took favorite male pop artist.
Next on the leaderboard, with two wins each, were Post Malone, SZA, The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, Beyoncé, Eminem and Twenty One Pilots.
In the Afrobeats category, Tyla won the award, beating out Asake, Tems, Wizkid and Rema.
Taylor Swift did not win any award despite six nominations.
