Bomet Governor Hillary Barchok and former Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati have been arraigned at the Milimani Anti-Corruption court over graft allegations.
The two spent their nights behind bars following their arrests yesterday.
This comes after the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) summoned the Bomet Governor and former Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati to appear for arraignment over corruption-related charges.
Barchok is set to face charges on alleged conflict of interest alongside Evans Kipkoech Korir, a director of Chemasus Construction Limited.
On the other hand, the ex-Bungoma county boss alongside 11 others will face charges relating to alleged irregular use of public funds through several companies.
