A total of 64 teams are set to take part in this year’s MozzartBet Cup with the entry featuring both top tier,second tier and bottom tier teams.
Last season’s standout performers, Denmak FC and Compel FC, return after impressing last season.
Denmak stunned FKF Premier League side Gor Mahia with a first-round upset, while Compel FC made history as the first FKF Division One side to reach the quarterfinals, overcoming Kajiado FC and Mara Sugar FC before falling to AFC Leopards.
This season also welcomes a strong non-league presence, with teams like Kakamega Veterans, Jumbo TFC, and Donholm Seniors adding an extra layer of unpredictability to the competition.
A total of 12 FKF Premier League teams and 5 FKF National Super League sides form the top-tier contingent, setting the stage for a fiercely competitive tournament.
The draw for the tournament is scheduled February 17th setting off the stage for the championship which kicks off with round of 64 action in March.
The round of 16 matches are set to be played in April with the quarter finals and semi finals set for May while the final will be held on June 14th.
The winner of the championship gets a slot to represent Kenya in the 2025/2026 CAF Confederations Cup.
Kenya Police Fc won last years tournament and reached the first round where they were knocked out by Egypt’s Zamalek.
