Kenya’s leading media monitoring and analytics firm, Globetrack has been feted with three  awards for its role in advancing communication through data-backed insights.

During the International Association for the Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC) Awards 2025, the firm was recognized for its role in mapping a comprehensive measurement journey, setting baselines, piloting insights, and building a scalable evaluation framework that directly supports NACADA’s prevention and education mandate.

“We mapped the measurement journey, set baselines, and used insights to guide improvement in their mandate to curb alcohol and drug abuse,” said Esther Kagiri, Founder and Managing Director of Globetrack.

The  firm was also recognized as the “Most Impactful Client Recommendations Arising from a Measurement Study”.

Globetrack was recognized for its ability to bridge the gap between measurement and management, transforming data into actionable strategies that support Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) core mandate, aviation safety, compliance, and stakeholder confidence.

One of the standout recommendations from the study was the launch of a post-certification compliance mentorship program for new Approved Maintenance Organizations (AMOs).

This advice emerged from Globetrack’s analysis of media gaps around post-certification practices and the growing volume of conversations related to aviation safety, licensing, and airworthiness.

“Our recommendations went beyond generic insights,” explained Ms. Kagiri. “They were business-aligned and outcome-driven. For KCAA, that meant connecting communication to its core mission of aviation safety and compliance, proving that strategic measurement can directly support operational success.”

Kagiri who is also the first African woman to serve on the AMEC Board was also named the AMEC Executive Professional of the Year.
