Mudavadi called upon all Western Kenya leaders to join hands with the government in order to actualize the development agenda of the region.

“It will be impossible to defeat President William Ruto in the 2027 polls. He is a hands on leader ready to engage with Kenyans and leaders from across the country. We cannot afford to take any chances as the people of Western Kenya,” he said.

He said that President Ruto means well for the region, noting that the onslaught on sugar cartels will uplift the region economically.

Mudavadi commended MPs from the region for being focused and steadfast during the President’s tour of western Kenya, saying they demonstrated maturity and readiness to work with the government irrespective of their political affiliations.

President Ruto has been on a five-day development tour of the Western region covering Busia, Bungoma, Vihiga, and Kakamega Counties.
