Nine people, including two minors, have died in an accident involving a bus and a Nissan Matatu along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.
The one am incident that occurred near Kayole estate, ten kilometres from Naivasha town, left several other people injured.
One of the passengers in the ill-fated matatu says the driver was speeding and overtaking a fleet of vehicles when it rammed into the oncoming bus, killing six people on the spot.
Three others were pronounced dead on arrival at the Naivasha Sub-County hospital.
