The national Olympic Committee of Kenya election will be held on Monday, 21st July from 8am, after being postponed twice.
The election of the officials will be the only agenda in Monday’s Annual General Meeting, which had earlier been set for tomorrow, the 19th, starting from 9am.
The election was initially scheduled for April 24th, but it was postponed as four federations disagreed on their voting delegates, and it was again put on hold on June 19th after a high court ruling.
Nock’s top seat, the Presidency, is a close battle between the current first vice president, Shadrack Maluki, and incumbent secretary general Francis Mutuku.
The voting delegates for Monday’s election will include outgoing President Paul Tergat, two athlete representatives, a women representative, and 25 NOCK-affiliated federations.
