A section of leaders from the North Rift have endorsed Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy, and Maritime Affairs, Ali Hassan Joho, to succeed President William Ruto in 2032.
Speaking during a fundraiser to support women groups in Tangulbei,Tiaty Constituency, leaders led by Tiaty Member of Parliament William Kamket stated that Joho is fit to take over the presidency once President Ruto’s term expires in 2032.
They urged the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) to begin preparations to form the next government.
Kacheliba Member of Parliament, Titus Lotee praised Joho for building friendships across communities, including minority groups such as the Pokot, and affirmed their support for him come 2032.
