PPB Chairman reaffirms commitment to regulatory standards in meeting with KPA leadership

The Chairman of the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB), Dr. John Munyu has reaffirmed PPB’s commitment to upholding regulatory standards to strengthen systems and improve patient care.

Speaking Monday when he met with a delegation from the Kenya Pharmaceutical Association (KPA) led by President Chitechi Amboka, he urged the KPA leadership to ensure compliance among members in line with established professional standards.

The visit introduced KPA’s new National Executive Council (NEC) leadership and addressed issues affecting pharmaceutical technologists in their practice.

He further noted PPB’s interest in working closely with professional bodies to enhance the practice environment and position Kenya’s pharmaceutical industry for global recognition.

The PPB Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Fred Siyoi, together with senior Board officials, also attended the meeting.
