Felix Oluoch scored two goals in 4 minutes of the 2nd half to give Posta Rangers a 2-0 lead in the 1st leg of the FKF Premier League promotion/relegation playoff at the Thika Municipal Stadium on Saturday.
After a barren first half draw, both teams resumed with the intent of taking an advantage, but it was Rangers who drew first blood after the home side’s floppy defence allowed Oketch to slot in the opener in the 64th minute ,before banging in the 2nd in a similar way after a defensive lapse in the 68th minute.
The two sides will meet again on 2nd July at the SportPesa Arena in Murang’a County, with the overall winner earning a place in the FKF Premier League next season.
Rangers finished 16th in the FKF PL this season while Naivas claimed 3rd position in the National Super League.
