Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have arrested a robbery with violence suspect and recovered a firearm believed to be used to terrorize residents in the coastal region.
The 27-year-old man was nabbed from his hideout on Saturday, a house the detectives say they recovered the firearm.
Paul Odhiambo Magoya was arrested in a sting operation within Mariakani, when police raided his room at Prestige Guest House.
The firearm, a CZ pistol, which was found concealed at his bed has been submitted for ballistic examination at the National Forensic Laboratory.
