Savara Mudigi is set to headline the CHAN 2024 final show at Kasarani Stadium on Saturday, August 30, 2025.
The former Sauti Sol star will lead an exciting line-up that also features Uganda’s Grammy-nominated Eddy Kenzo and Tanzania’s fast-rising sensation Zuchu.
The closing ceremony promises to be a cultural celebration befitting the continental football tournament. For Savara, the event is a special homecoming, marking one of his biggest solo performances since Sauti Sol disbanded in 2023.
The “Reggae ya Kinyozi” musician also made the song “Pamoja” for the football tournament.
Known for his unique blend of Afro-fusion and Reggae rhythms, Savara is expected to deliver a high-energy show that resonates with both local fans and international visitors.
Eddy Kenzo, who has flown the Ugandan flag high with global hits like ‘Sitya Loss’, will add star power to the spectacle.
Meanwhile, Zuchu, signed under Diamond Platnumz’s WCB Wasafi label, will bring the flair of Bongo Flava, representing the new wave of Tanzanian talent captivating audiences across Africa.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has described the closing ceremony as a “non-stop spectacle” designed to celebrate not only the finalists on the pitch but also the spirit of African creativity.
