Dr. Anne Rwamba Gitau, CEO and Secretary of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC), has exited the Commission after completing her 10-year tenure at the helm.
Margaret Njoka, Director, Corporate Services, has assumed the role in acting capacity until a substantive Commission Secretary/CEO is recruited.
The recruitment process is currently ongoing.
Dr. Gitau’s 13-year stint at SRC spans all three SRC Commissions since inception.
The Commission expressed its appreciation for her dedication and exemplary service over the past decade.
“The Commission expresses its deep appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Gitau for her commitment and dedicated service to SRC and to the people of Kenya, and wishes her the very best in her future endeavours”, SRC said in a statement.
