The trailer for the final season of Stranger Things has been released.
Teasing a battle with the series’ villain, Vecna, the trailer opens to a town scarred by the opening of the rifts.
The official synopsis released by Netflix, reads as follows: “(Vecna) has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding.
“As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming, and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before.”
The new season will be released in three parts: Volume 1 on November 26 (consisting of four episodes), Volume 2 on December 25 (three episodes) and The Finale on December 31.
The show stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Priah Ferguson, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Maya Hawke, Joe Keery, David Harbour, Winona Ryder and Brett Gelman.
