Strictly Entertainment (Music UK) and Sub Sahara Entertainment (Kenya) have officially announced a partnership to form Strictly-Sub Sahara Entertainment.
The alliance, witnessed by industry insiders and distinguished guests, including Angela Ndambuki of IFPI, Chinasa Udeala of Universal, Steve Mwangi of Sony, David Mureithi, Tanzanian songstress, Lady Jaydee, Maurice Okoth of KAMP, Stan Getua – Mastercard Foundation, among others, promises to bridge continents, cultures, and creativity, positioning East Africa’s talent on the global stage while strengthening the UK-Africa music pipeline.
“This partnership isn’t just about music—it’s about creating a movement that connects African creativity with global opportunities,” said Chiedozie Onuora “Eddo”, Co-Founder at Strictly Entertainment.

Together, we’re scaling new heights,” added Suzanne Gachukia-Opambe, Founder of Sub Sahara Music as she introduced Sub-Sahara Entertainment’s stable including: Zzero Sufuri, KusMa, Nuclear , Teejay Kere, Dan Rei , KushBoi , Sir Nganga, BwanaNgoma , Cewa, Kibby-a-Freak – Singers , rappers , song writers and producers , bringing fresh soundscapes with global appeal.
Others include, the Powerhouse Roster and the collaboration will spotlight an exciting roster of boundary-pushing artists.

As part of the launch of our new record label and movement, we are excited to announce the Star Search competition, dedicated to discovering exceptional talent including a female singer, a male singer, and a rapper.
In addition, we will revive the iconic name of one of East Africa’s most influential music groups by initiating the search for Camp Mulla 2.0, continuing Kenya’s proud tradition of introducing groundbreaking music collectives to the world.
All of these initiatives will be housed within our state-of-the-art creative entertainment and digital media hub.
This space will serve as an incubator for tomorrow’s global stars, while also providing an empowering environment for emerging East African creative and business professionals who are not signed to the label. The JV will kick off with a series of high-profile single releases, cross-continent collaborations, and immersive performances, rolling out in [Q1 2026]. Fans can expect: A flagship compilation project featuring top artists from both labels.
Similarly there will also be exclusive global distribution deals to expand reach beyond Africa and the UK, curated live showcases in Nairobi, London, and other key music capitals as well as a talent search, in collaboration with Nairobi County and The Carnivore
