Police in Watamu have arrested three suspects and recovered a stash of narcotics and drug paraphernalia in an operation in Timboni area.
The arrests, which took place on Monday, July 21, followed a tip-off from members of the public.
Officers from Watamu Police Station raided a house belonging to one of the suspects, where they seized 14 sachets of heroin, about 100 grams of cannabis sativa, three syringes, 15 plastic packaging sheets, and three sterilised alcohol pads.
Police also recovered a spent cartridge and a ledger containing firearm sketches, raising concerns about possible links to illegal weapons.
The suspects are in custody and are expected to be arraigned as investigations continue.
