Defending Champions Senegal has named their 25-man squad for the TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN), retaining only one player – Serigne Moctar Koité – from their 2022 title-winning squad.
Head coach Souleymane Diallo has named experienced players in his squad as he prepares to kick off their Group D campaign in a heavyweightclash against Nigeria in a West African derby on 5th August.
Lions of Teranga are currently in Arusha, Tanzania, competing in a 3 Nation CECAFA build-up tournament, and tare expected to travel to Zanzibar early next week.
Senegal has been drawn in Group D of the CHAN finals, where they will face Nigeria, Congo, and Sudan.
