Kenyans among attendees of 59th Jalsa Salana convention

Hundreds of Kenyans are among attendees of the 59th annual Ahmadiyya muslim community Jalsa Salana convention.

This year’s convention which is ongoing in Alton, United Kingdom has attracted over 50,000 Ahmadiyya faithful’s from across the world.

Speaking during the official opening of this year’s convention, Ahmadiyya’s spiritual leader Hazrt Mirza Masroor called for sprit of selfness to promote peace.

“If we practice the sprit of of selfness and the societal level then there would be peace cross the globe,” he said.

Attendees from Kenya and other African countries called for good governance to foster peaceful co-existence

Countries including Kenya that have been facing political hostilities have been encouraged to seek peaceful and inclusive ways to solve political standoffs.

The annual Jalsa Salana Convention aims at strengthening brotherhood and togetherness among Ahamadiyya Muslims that have been facing persecution in different parts of the world due to their spiritual beliefs.
