The National Police Service Commission (NPSC) has cautioned Kenyans to ignore a fake recruitment advertisement for police constables that has been circulation on social media.
The false notice, which directs applicants to an unauthorized online link, has raised concern within Commission.
In a statement issued on 9 th September2025, the Commission made it clear that all official information regarding police recruitment will only be released through its verified communication channels.
These include the NPSC’s official website, main stream media outlets and the Commission’s authenticated social media platform.
The statement signed by Commission Chairperson Dr. Amani Yuda Komra, confirmed that preparations for a legitimate recruitment exercise are currently underway.
Dr. Komora urged the public to remain vigilant and avoid falling victim to fraudulent notices designed to mislead and exploit job seekers.
The commission reiterated its commitment to providing accurate updates through established platforms and warned that any information outside these channels should be treated as false.
