Losiwareng fought hard in a photo finish to settle for bronze beating 4th placed Matri Terregrossa of Spain by 0.08 seconds.
Reflecting on his bronze, Losiwareng said, ”I made a mistake at the barrier, but I fought hard to ensure I take the medal back to West Pokot. This being my last under-20 championship, now I am targeting the World Championships and Olympics.”
