Elvis Murakana Namenya passes on

Dagoretti North Member of Parliament Beatrice Elachi’s son Elvis Murakana Namenya has passed on.

Leaders took to their social media handles to mourn the loss of Elvis with President William Ruto sending his message of condolence wishing the family of Elachi strength to bear with the loss of their son.

“May God grant Mheshimiwa Beatrice Elachi and the family strength to bear with the loss of their dear son, Elvis Murakana. Be comforted by the word of the Lord in Psalm 147:3: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Rest In Peace, Elvis.”

The Orange Democratic Party (ODM ) condoled with Elachi saying the demise of Elvis was a huge loss to the family.

“May God grant MP, Dagoretti North Beatrice Elachi and family the fortitude and strength to overcome the pain of losing her son Elvis Murakana Namenya. It is such a huge loss to Mheshimiwa. As a party we stand with her during this difficult moment of mourning and grief.”

In his message, Kileleshwa Ward Member of County Assembly (MCA) Robert Alai said losing a child was an unimaginable pain, wishing the family unwavering support and prayers as they navigate the grief.”

“Dear Beatrice Elachi, It is with a heavy heart that I extend my deepest condolences to you and your family on the tragic loss of your son, Elvis Murakana. As the MCA for Kileleshwa Ward, I join the people of Dagoretti North and beyond in mourning this profound loss. Losing a child is an unimaginable pain, and my thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time. May you find strength and solace in the love and support that surrounds you. Elvis, your fourth child, will forever remain in our hearts and memories. On behalf of the Kileleshwa Ward community, I offer our unwavering support and prayers for you and your family as you navigate this grief.” Alai mourned.

On her part, the Principal Secretary Higher Education and Research Dr Beatrice Inyangala eulogised Elvis saying, the pain of losing a child is beyond words, a sorrow that no parent should ever endure.

My heart aches deeply for my sister, Beatrice Elachi, as she faces the unimaginable loss of her precious son, Elvis Murakana, taken from us far too soon. In these moments of overwhelming grief, I pray that God surrounds my sister Beatrice and the entire family with His comfort and strength, as they walk through this heartbreaking journey.”
