Dembélé  Shortlisted for the Best FIFA Football Award 2025

The award is based on achievements between  11th  August 2024 and 2nd August 2025.

Ballon d’Or winner and Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Ousmane Dembélé is among 11 players shortlisted for the 2025 Best FIFA Men’s Football Award.

The French forward will battle for the award alongside England and FC Bayern München striker Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappé, France and Real Madrid, Nuno Mendes of Portugal and Paris Saint-Germain, England and Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, and Pedri of Spain and Barcelona.

Others in contention for the gong include: Raphinha from Brazil and Barcelona, Mohamed Salah of Egypt and Liverpool, Vitinha of  Portugal and Paris Saint-Germain, and Spain and Barcelona talisman Lamine Yamal.

A panel of experts on men’s and women’s football has compiled a shortlist of 11 male and female players for The Best FIFA Men’s and Women’s Player, The Best FIFA Men’s and Women’s Coach, and The Best FIFA Men’s and Women’s Goalkeeper.

All 211 FIFA Member Associations’ men’s and women’s national teams will now invite their coaches and captains to select three outstanding candidates for each of the three women’s awards.

Shortlist voting commenced on 6 November 2025 and will conclude on 28 November 2025.
