Kabras Queens and Upendon FC emerged champions of the 2025 Tujiamini Cheza Dimba Tournament, held over the weekend.
Kabras Queens clinched the women’s title after edging out Kiman’get FC with a hard-fought 1-0 victory, while Upendon FC triumphed in the men’s category, overcoming Nakarila FC in a nail-biting final.
The tournament brought together eight grassroots teams—six male and two female sides—for an electrifying competition that celebrated community spirit, youth empowerment, and raw football talent.
Empowering Young Stars
Organized under the banner of empowering young athletes, the Tujiamini Cheza Dimba Tournament continues to grow as a platform for future football stars to shine.

Speaking during the event, SportPesa Public Relations Officer Deborah Chepkirui praised the players’ determination and resilience:
‘This tournament is about more than just winning—it’s about believing in yourself, building communities, and giving young talent the exposure it deserves,’ said Chepkirui. ‘We’re proud to support these players as they chase their dreams.’”
Rewarding Talent
The tournament also came with a reward for the champions. Upendon FC, winners of the men’s title, walked away with a cash prize of Ksh 250,000, while Kabras Queens, the women’s champions, earned Ksh 50,000.
