Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has joined a growing list of celebrities applauding the raw talent on The Next Super Star.

The “Mazishi” hitmaker set Instagram ablaze with a trail of fire emojis after watching a bold rap performance by Cosign Black (22 years), one of the show’s fiercest contenders.

Known for his poetic grit, Cosign earned what fans call Khaligraph’s coveted “OG stamp of approval.”

Speaking after performing, Cosign Black expressed confidence and gratitude for the recognition from judges, including King Kaka and Motif the Don.

“I didn’t expect praises I have received today, and I thank God for the opportunity StarTimes has given me. It’s my time to shine. I’m competing alongside talents like Andy Saharan, Switney, Rouwa, Snaidah Don Dada, and Jose Jay. This is my chance to showcase my talent and make Kenyan music great,” he said.

The show, hosted by the dynamic duo Eddie Butita and Amina Abdi Rabar, features a star-studded judging panel with Size 8, King Kaka, and producer Motif the Don, making it the perfect mix of music, mentorship, and big moments.

Myke Mwai, Head of PR and Content Syndication said the next super Star features 13 live episodes and 13 mid-week episodes offering fans twice the excitement, talent, and drama.

“We are deeply committed to nurturing local talent and providing a platform where young Kenyan artists can shine. The Next Super Star is more than just a competition — it’s an investment in the future of our music industry. Through this show, we aim to discover, promote, and empower the next generation of stars who will shape Kenya’s entertainment landscape for years to come.”
