Kenya Volleyball Federation men’s National League defending champions General Service Unit (GSU) were stunned 3-0 (25-21, 25-13 and 25-22) by debutants Kenya Airport Police Unit (KAPU) in one of the league games played on Sunday at the Kasarani Indoor Gymnasium.
In other matches last season’s runners-up, Kenya Ports Authority, lost 2-3 (25-19, 27-29, 26-28, 25-11 and 11-15) to newly promoted side Eldowas.
Kenya Prisons defeated Nairobi Prisons by three straight sets, 25-21, 25-22, and 25-23, while Equity Bank emerged 3-1 (25-17, 17-25, 25-21, and 25-13) winners over Rift Valley Prisons.
