Mount Kenya University (MKU) is set to hold its 27th Graduation ceremony on 8th August, 2025 at the Happy Valley Grounds, Thika, along Garissa Road from 9:00 am.
The ceremony will be presided over by the University Chancellor, Prof. John Struthers who will award Diplomas and Certificates and confer Degrees.
“The Chancellor, Mount Kenya University, Prof. John Struthers on behalf of the University Council Management Board and Senate, wishes to inform all our esteemed graduands who have qualified for conferment of degree and various University Awards that the 27th Graduation ceremony will be held on Friday 8th August, 2025,” read a notice from the institution.
The University has advised graduands who have cleared with the institution list to check on its website and notified potential graduands who have not appeared on the graduation list to notify respective schools through emails on the same website.
The administration has also requested graduands to verify their names by Friday 4th July, 2025. “Any requests for changes in spellings and orders of names should be done within this period at the respective campus admissions office. Any chsnges should be accompanied by relevant academic documents,” the notice read further.
MKU is expected to conduct rehearsals to graduands intending to participate at the graduation pavilion on Thursday, 7th August, 2025 from 9:00 am.
