On the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay El Hassan presided on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Royal Palace in Rabat, a ceremony offered by the Sovereign in honor of the Under-20 National Football Team, crowned 2025 world champions following their historic triumph at the tournament held in Chile.
During this reception marked by pride and emotion, His Royal Highness was greeted by the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa, the national coach Mr. Mohamed Ouahbi, as well as the players and members of the technical staff, before posing for a souvenir photo and attending a tea ceremony given in their honor.
This celebration illustrates the High Benevolence of His Majesty King Mohammed VI towards Moroccan youth and His constant commitment to their development through sport, an essential pillar of human development and national cohesion.

It also reflects the particular interest that the Sovereign attaches to football as a vehicle for excellence, unity, and the international influence of the Kingdom.
This global triumph for the Atlas Lions, the first of its kind in the history of Moroccan soccer, is a historic victory and a source of national pride.
It crowns years of investment and hard work in sports training, driven by the enlightened and forward-looking vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, who has raised national training to the highest international standards-notably through the Mohammed VI Football Academy, a veritable melting pot of Moroccan talent.
With this triumph, Moroccan youth have once again demonstrated that they are the engine of progress, the symbol of perseverance, and the shining face of a modern and ambitious Morocco.

The presence of players from the Mohammed VI Academy, such as the young Zabiri, testifies to the success of the Moroccan model in identifying, training, and supporting the national sporting elite.
It should be noted that in his message of congratulations to the national team, His Majesty the King praised the exemplary performance of these young champions, emphasizing that they have honored their country with dignity and represented Morocco and Africa with bravery and excellence.
Beyond the pitch, this victory sparked tremendous joy and unity throughout the Kingdom.
From Tangier to Lagouira, from the Rif to the Sahara, millions of Moroccans celebrated their young heroes in the streets, proudly displaying the national colors and chanting in unison: “Dima Maghrib!” Under a red and green sky, Rabat vibrated to the rhythm of a historic triumph, symbolizing a Morocco strengthened by its youth, its ambition, and the enlightened vision of its King.
This solemn moment marks a new page of glory for Moroccan sport and reaffirms the Kingdom’s place as a sporting, human, and cultural power on the world stage.
Through this royal audience, the pride of a people meets the vision of a King, united in the same spirit: that of a conquering, modern Morocco looking to the future.
