A requiem mass for the late Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ng’eno will be held tomorrow at AGC Karen Church in Nairobi.

The service will mark the start of funeral proceedings for him and five others who died in a helicopter crash in Mosop, Nandi County, on Saturday.

The bodies of Ng’eno and Wycliffe Rono, a protocol officer from Narok County, will be transported from Lee Funeral Home to their rural homes on Thursday for an overnight vigil in line with Kipsigis customs.

On the same day, the bodies of Carlos Keter, Nick Kosgey, and Amos Kipngetich will depart Nairobi.

A public requiem mass will also be held early Thursday morning at Emurua Dikirr Primary School, where members of the public can pay their last respects.

After the service, the three bodies will be preserved at Kilgoris Morgue, while Ng’eno and Rono proceed to their respective homes.

According to the Narok County Government, all five bodies will reconvene at Emurua Dikirr Primary School on Friday for a joint final ceremony.

Each family will then conduct burial rites at their respective homes.
