SA musician AzureDe lands in Kenya

South African musician AzureDé has landed in Nairobi for a week-long media tour, marking her debut visit to Kenya.

Known for her unique blend of traditional South African sounds with Amapiano and 3-step genre, the KwaZulu-Natal native is here to promote her latest singles “Helele” and “Sondela” with legendary South African DJ and music producer Heavy K, while gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated debut EP.

Speaking at JKIA upon arrival, AzureDé said, “Kenya is such an important cultural hub for African music. I am excited to connect with the media, the fans and to share my journey as an African artist creating for the world.”

AzureDé first broke out with her viral debut “Blow My Mind,” which sparked global dance challenges and introduced her as a bold new voice in African music.

Her Nairobi tour will see her engage with Kenyan media and her fans, as she shares her journey as one of the leading voices of South Africa’s new 3-Step Sound. She will also offer exclusive previews of her upcoming debut EP.

AzureDé’s latest release “Helele”, is an electrifying solo statement that fuses distinctive African energy with contemporary 3-step rhythms, creating a soundscape that is both authentic and infectious.

With verses drawn from her own story, AzureDé describes the track as more than just music; it is identity.

She is also enjoying success with “Sondela”, which has quickly gained traction across streaming platforms, combining her emotive vocals with Heavy K’s signature production to deliver a genre-defining anthem embraced by fans across Africa.
