Sarova Hotels adds ninth outlet to the chain

Sarova Hotels and Resorts has inked a franchise agreement with Maiyan Luxury Resort bringing the total number of property under the chain to nine.

Sarova Hotels Group Managing Director Jimi Kariuki said the addition of the Nanyuki-based hotel signifies its commitment to providing top-notch management support to hotel owners that are seeking to elevate their offerings and expanding their presence in the ever-evolving tourism landscape.

“Our ultimate goal is to increase awareness of the resort which in turn will grow the number of visitors to the resorts and ensure the success for Sarova Maiyan Nanyuki,” he added.

Maiyan Luxury Resort Chairman, James Mworia said the partnership aims to boost tourism in Mount Kenya region since it is witnessing a surge in interest and demand from both domestic and international travelers.

Maiyan Luxury Resort will now operate as Sarova Maiyan Nanyuki effective November 1, 2023.
