A new lifestyle brand, SKNLY, was unveiled at a launch event at Bonsai Villa in Gigiri, bringing skincare, fashion, and spa services under one roof.

Speaking at the launch, the founder, MP Njeri Maina, said, “Before I became a Member of Parliament, I loved music, I loved skincare, and I also loved fashion. So, I thought, why don’t we fuse everything and have something called SKNLY?”

The brand’s range includes cleansing mousse, facial cleansers, collagen-based and hydrating treatments, a tea tree acne toner, acne cream, hyaluronic acid face masks and sunscreen.

The brand will also offer beauty consultations and personalised skin analysis to help clients build routines suited to their skin.

Maina described the brand as “for women,” adding that it is “everything a woman needs.”

The launch marks Maina’s latest move into the creative and lifestyle space, following her recent return to music with the reggae single “Hit and Run.”

She previously recorded under the name Carola Jayne while associated with Grandpa Records during her university years.

Alongside SKNLY, Maina also unveiled Pink Rise, a women-focused initiative aimed at mentoring young women and supporting their leadership participation.

Maina currently serves as Kirinyaga Woman Representative in the National Assembly and also runs Njeri Maina Law Advocates.

SKNLY will operate from Covo Square along Gitanga Road, offering skincare, a fashion design line and spa services alongside personalised skin consultations.
