On Saturday, December 13, 2025, the Endless Energy Dance Festival (EEDF) returns for its seventh edition.

The headliners for this year’s event are top Kenyan music artists – Ssaru, Toxic Lyrikali, Fathermoh, alongside Breeder LW and DJ Joe Mfalme.

Organised by ChezaCheza Foundation, the festival, held at Rowallan Grounds, “builds on its mission of promoting dance, mental-health awareness, and environmental advocacy in communities often underserved by traditional support systems,” according to the foundation.

Through dance and creative expression, the festival hopes to offer youths a space for emotional release, community bonding, and talent showcase.

The 2025 edition, themed “Dancing for a Greener Future,” aims to merge entertainment with climate activism. It is expected to draw over 3,000 youth and 1,000 children, a significant rise from the more than 2,000 participants recorded in 2024.

The day’s programme will kick off with the “ChezaCheza Green Walk,” a vibrant morning march accompanied by music and a community cleanup drive.

Throughout the day, attendees will take part in dance battles inspired by the natural elements, Wind, Water, Earth, and Fire, as well as climate-awareness panels, social-emotional learning workshops, and eco-art installations.

In addition, the festival will feature tree planting, installation of dustbins, and other sustainability projects with organisers targeting over 50 new trees, the establishment of environmental clubs in schools, and permanent eco-themed public art installations. T

The launch of the “Green Champions Program” will also train 20 youths to become peer-educators and climate advocates in their communities.
