The Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) has cancelled licences of 20 Insurance Brokers.

In a statement, the regulator says the affected insurance brokers ceased transacting insurance business effective from end of last month, and have been de-registered following their gazettement on the 18th of July 2025.

IRA Chief Executive Officer Godfrey Kiptum is therefore advising members of the public against doing business with the de-gazetted insurance brokers.
