Kenya has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing Universal Health Coverage (UHC) through stronger collaboration with PATH focused on sustainable health solutions anchored in local innovation and manufacturing capacity.

The Medical Services Principal Secretary Dr. Ouma Oluga held discussions with PATH President and CEO Nikolaj Gilbert to review and strengthen the longstanding partnership of nearly three decades between PATH and the Government of Kenya.

The discussions focused on expanding joint efforts in health workforce development, vaccine manufacturing technology transfer, and local production of essential health products.

These areas are seen as critical to advancing Kenya’s health system transformation and ensuring better outcomes for citizens.
